My name is Fr. John Dearhammer and I am pastor of St Clare of Assisi. I was named pastor in July of 2023 to administrate the parish, celebrate Masses and give guidance and leadership to the parish.
I have been at St. Clare of Assis since July, 2023. In my free time, I enjoy golf, cribbage (card game), reading and relaxing with friends. My Dad lives in Florida and my sister is in the Netherlands with the WHO and her husband, Marcel and son, Alex. My favorite saint is St. Peter because he makes mistakes (like me) and continues as best he can to live his faith in Jesus. |

I serve as the Operations Director for St. Clare of Assisi and have been blessed to be part of the parish community since October 2023.
My husband, James, and I have been happily married for 22 years, and we are proud parents to our 10-year-old daughter. Outside of work, I stay active in our community—I enjoy coaching our local soccer team, serving as PTO President for our school district, and cheering enthusiastically at my daughters' gymnastics meets. One of my favorite quotes that inspires me is: 'God does not change, but He uses change to change us.' – St. Augustine. |

I am honored to serve as the Secretary of St. Clare of Assisi Parish. I have been part of this wonderful community for a year and enjoy supporting the parish in my role.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my husband and children. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and dancing. |

I collaborate with the catechists and parish staff to prepare students and adults to receive the sacraments of Baptism (over the age of 7), First Communion, Reconciliation, and Confirmation.
I’ve been a member of St. Colette since 1960 and a member of St. Clare of Assisi since July 1 2023. I like sewing, cooking, bicycling, ballroom dancing, reading mysteries and now that my knees won’t let me play anymore, I like being a sports fan. John 13:34-35 : "I give you a new commandment: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love one another." |

Miguel Cruz, Deacon
Miguel Cruz serves as a Deacon, assisting priests in celebrating Mass, Baptisms, Quinceañeras, and funerals. He also prepares couples for marriage, leads Bible studies, supports parish ministries, and works closely with families in the community. Additionally, he brings communion to the sick and elderly and helps organize
fundraising events to support the parish. He has been a Deacon at the parish since 2023 but has been actively serving the Church since 2009. Happily married to Maria Guadalupe Cruz, they have seven children-- five daughters and two sons. Miguel enjoys reading the Bible and spending quality time with his family. Favorite Scripture: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” |

I have been a part of the St. Colette parish since 1996. I was ordained as a deacon in 2023, and have been assisting St. Clara of Assisi since. I celebrate baptisms, do liturgies for quinceañeras, help teach religious education to parents in Spanish, and help anywhere else that's needed.

- I serve as a Deacon at St. Clare of Assisi Parish. In my ministry, I assist the pastor with sacraments such as Baptisms, Quinceañeras, and weekend Masses.
- I have been a Deacon at St. Colette for 7 years and for St. Clare of Assisi Parish for 1. I have also been involved in other ministries as a layperson for 27 years.
- My favorite pastime is spending quality time with my family and listening to music.
- My favorite scripture passage is the Parable of the Prodigal Son.
