Baptism
You have made an important decision to baptize your child.
Baptism marks the beginning of a spiritual life that finds fulfillment in the Church. Please allow 3 months for adequate planning.
The following requirements must be fulfilled before the baptism:
Under 7 years old - For infant baptism, the child should be under the age of seven.
The age of seven is determined to be the age of reason and therefore should be catechized before receiving the sacraments.
Copy of child's birth certificate - Must be brought in at time of registration.
Baptism Formation Class - Parent and Godparents must attend a Baptism Formation Class.
Baptism classes are offered in both Engish and Spanish.
